There are basically 4 different types of sailing, day sailing, coastal cruising, offshore cruising and racing.

They all have overlapping skills but are a very different experience and require different specific skills. We specialize in custom fitting the skills and experience with your objective by effectively using the 25 years of boating education we have.

Our Vancouver Sailing Instructors have a lifetime of experience in each type of sailing and look forward to sharing it with you.

Sailing Certifications

International Sail and Power Association Certification offers specific performance objectives in training. Both theory and hand’s on practical training must be completed for each certification level. There are self study workbooks for each course level provided to you, Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper

Pleasure Craft Operator Card course is also offered.
